PC Repairs

As we all know PC’s and Laptops can be troublesome, and often need repairing by professionals. We having been repairing PC’s and Laptops for many years and have built up an excellent reputation in the process. Repairs can be carried out either in our workshop or in your home if you want to avoid the inconvenience caused by moving your PC.

 

For your peace of mind we quote the cost of repairs before we start. In the event that the repair is going to cost more or we find other problems we always contact you before proceeding. We never destroy your data without checking that you have a backup and should you require one we can provide this service too. Our hourly rate is £30 per hour although we have set rates for certain repairs:

 

Windows XP Install: Whether a clean install or a repair this service is a flat rate of £35 including all updates and driver installation.

RAM Installation: We fit and test RAM for free if you buy the RAM through us. Otherwise there is a fixed fee of £15 for this service.

Small Jobs: Occasionally a repair can involve changing a few settings or inserting a loose cable. Any job that takes us less than 10 minutes will be charged at a maximum of £15.

 

PC Upgrades

An inexpensive upgrade is possibly all your existing PC needs for a new lease of life. Here we offer a wide range of PC upgrades including the following:

RAM: The simplest way to improve your computer is by adding more memory. This will allow you to do more things at the same time, quicker.

Hard Drive: Increase your storage by replacing your hard drive or adding an additional hard drive to allow more pictures and movies to be saved.

Graphics Card: Improve your graphics capability by installing an up to date graphics card. An essential upgrade to get the best out of the new computer games.

DVD-RW: Backup device to save all your work, photos and more on. With the option of watching DVD movies and creating your own DVDs too this is a must for home movie makers.

Sound Card: Get the most out of your DVDs and games with a surround sound system making you feel you are in the film or game.

We take computer security very seriously. We have years of experience in removing and preventing Viruses, Spyware and Adware and consider ourselves specialists in this area. Your PC or laptop may be infected if you have any of the following symptoms:

Removal of viruses can be a long and painful process but we can help. We have a wide range of specialist removal tools and software to ensure all your spyware problems are solved. A big part of the removal process is scanning your computer. This can sometimes take hours so to keep your costs to a minimum we perform all our healing services at our office. We do not charge for the scanning time which means 95% of the time we only charge for one hours work.
